Pre Production
Logistical

I started work on my logistical pre-production. I started out by getting a cast list together and trying to find possible locations that would fit our storyline. After a lot of back and forth with my possible cast members, I finally got a final cast list with the contact details of each person. Over the course of production, this changed to match the updates we got from each person.

Next I started finding locations that would fit my storyline, out of my parts I required two locations, one for the farm scenes and one for the intro where chuck is introduced setting up mouse traps. For the farm I used a public bridleway where I like to walk my dog and for the intro, I used my grandads garage. I then went to the locations I had in mind to scout them, I then assessed each of the locations:

I also then set out to risk assess each location ready for my cast and crew to be on set safely and effectively to get everything filmed as efficiently as possible.

Once I assembled my cast and crew I had to get an Inventory of the Kit we were going to use so we had an understanding on our capabilities when filming but also the limitations we had in regards to kit. It helped when fleshing out the story to keep the shots in mind whilst writing them, this helped me to maximise the capabilities of what I could do with the kit available but also gave me a kit list that I could check off to make sure I had everything whilst filming.

Now that I had my cast and crew and all my kit ready to go, I could start planning a production schedule that fits around the shots I am required to film for my parts, which I outlined in my shooting script and storyboard.
For production schedules I made two different documents for the two separate days of shooting (the 21st and 30th of April) as on each day we had different cast and crew attending so it made more sense to keep them separate which made it easier for our cast and crew to read and use effectively to keep on time to the itinerary.

Once it started getting close to the day of shoot I sent out my cast call sheets laying out all information for the shoot providing times, breaks and wrap times. This helped keep everyone punctual and on time as everyone knew where they had to be and what times they had to be there.

Once I had put together my call sheet I also sent over my Talent releases! This is just a couple page document confirming that the talent is 100% okay with me using their image and editing the videos for my production. Here is the document:
I then got my talent to each sign it like this:
