Mind Map
After creating this mind map I decided. I wanted my focus to be on a mockumentary about a cult. After this I started researching photos from the internet to help give some inspiration. I wanted to create the narrative about something weird, like mouse worship. I then put together a mood board.
Mood Board
I really like the old 1950s black and white look of everything and I feel like I could really create a backstory out of these images and put them together in a way that creates a narrative. This will help act as spine for the mockumentary.
In this picture there are random pictures of kids without masks on and I feel like this could be good as I could base people I interview around these people.
Overall this is how I want the mouse cult to look, I want all the pics to be in black and white roughly from the 50s-60s. The black and white makes it seem even more weird as normally black and white images haven't been tampered with which makes everything a little more I like the idea of found footage because it adds a mysterious paranormal feeling to it.
From this mood board I want it helps guide my research into the codes and conventions of Netflix documentaries, the use of lighting and framing.
